We’re Celebrating Positivity, Motivational Blue Monday!

(Unscientific) research shows this day to be the bluest and gloomiest day of the entire year – think winter chills, the aftermath of Christmas, broken new year’s resolutions.

Blue does so get a hard time at this time of year.  So, on that note, I’ve decided to stand up to Blue Monday and instead get through today feeling my usual positive, optimistic self, and in doing so, bigging up the colour blue!

Did you know…

• Blue is the rarest colour in nature and is therefore celebrated and looked at with wonder and awe – bluebells, forget-me-nots, the blue lobster, the blue starling, the blue crab, the blue jay, butterflies, blueberries, pansies, the sea, the sky.
  
  
• The colour blue represents loyalty, friendliness, confidence, wisdom, stability, strength, depth, trust, intelligence, even faith and heaven.
  
  
• Many believe that the colour blue has positive effects on our bodies and minds.
  
• Productivity and creative problem solving are inspired with blue surroundings.

With all that in mind, forget the negative connotations of Blue Monday and instead focus on the amazing things I’ve just shared about the colour blue! Today, is positivity, motivational Monday!

Turn it around; today is a new day, a new week – it’s all about positivity.
