Over a 15 year period Helen Mackenzie and myself hosted an evening of fun and fundraising ( with the focus on the fun ) and in the process raised over £850,000 for Childline.
Whilst Childline will always be close to our heart, they have a lot more financial support than they did when we were first involved and so 3 years ago we decided to take a break and consider where we could best direct our efforts.
Last year we both became trustees of a tiny charity, Kicking off, which uses football as a way of supporting children in some of the poorest communities in the world. We’ve decided to bring the Ball back and all profits will be in support of this fantastic charity.
We’ve secured a great deal with the Park Plaza Riverbank which has allowed us to keep the ticket price far lower than other industry events. Not only that, the format will be :--

DJ AND DANCING UNTIL 2AM
THE FAMOUS VODKA LUGE !
PREFERENTIAL HOTEL RATE FOR GUESTS OF THE BALL
