A lot happened 29 years ago, not only was Capital Corporate Finance founded – the most important thing, obviously – but also Nike created their ‘Just Do It’ strapline, Adele was born, Prince Charles escaped an avalanche in Switzerland and table tennis became an Olympic sport.
Since then, Capital Corporate Finance has been helping SME businesses, just like yours, with tailored business finance, winning plenty of awards along the way. It’s little wonder, in Bingo, that 29 is called ‘In Your Prime’. I’m certainly in mine, still getting my kicks from watching SMEs thrive with my help.
Every day I help businesses secure finance, whether that’s to expand and grow, secure better supplier terms through ensuring a robust cashflow, raise capital against stock and assets, or need finance to cover unexpected bills.
When I founded Capital Corporate Finance I vowed to offer 100% independent, unbiased, transparent and honest financial advice. Advice that I myself would want to receive, in a way that wasn’t full of baffling jargon, instead delivered in a sensible, understandable way that was personal and meaningful. And I truly believe I have done just that.
I feel so proud that over these 29 years I have helped thousands of businesses realise their goals, potential and dreams by arranging tailored SME finance. Whether that finance has been to help them expand, maximise growth opportunities or to help them through quieter times. Some of the businesses I helped in the early days are now huge household names, imagine what a buzz that is!
Wanting businesses to recognise that conventional banking isn’t their only option, I help SMEs choose from a myriad of finance options, including traditional loans, dynamic lending, invoice finance and multifaceted solutions.
Now, I am the longest established independent invoice finance broker in the UK, and as such, am highly regarded by finance providers across the entire UK lending market. As a result, I have fast track status with many, seeing me arrange SME finance faster and at better rates than going direct due to my knowledge and qualifying process. I am even, due to contacts and knowledge of the market, able to easily arrange finance to those who have been refused in the past.
However, it’s not all work, work, work… Passionate about my charity work, I still campaign and volunteer on behalf of a number of organisations including Friends of Grendon and The Butler Trust, and have raised over £1million for Childline and a few smaller charities in the past decade. Watch this space - some big news on my charity life coming soon…
I am also a huge advocate of the #womeninbusiness and #womeninfinance movements; truly believing it is our job to inspire, motivate and support women and girls to realise their career dreams without being told they cannot simply because of their gender.
